The future is looking bright in New Mexico! RenewableWorks is now accepting applications for an exciting new solar project in the Albuquerque area. Whether you've a been working on solar sites for years or an aspiring first-timer, we'd love for you to join our crew!
As a member of our team, you'll be responsible for above/below ground solar wiring, modules, and terminators. You'll be instrumental in the operations of sustainable energy units on commercial solar farm sites.
Heads up: This is a physically demanding role that will require you to work in all kinds of weather. A strong work ethic will serve you well, along with prior solar or construction experience (this is a plus, not a must!).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Terminate combiner boxes
Installing solar panels - working all aspects of the project from wiring to actual Installation of the solar PV modules including motor controllers.
Knowledge of solar materials, including modules, inverters, and monitoring systems.
AC/DC wiring and string wire.
Proficiency in electrical and switch gear wiring.
Panel/LV work
Layout, bend, thread and install conduit
Trench with shovel and install PVC raceway
Pull and terminate aluminum direct bury wire
Supervise the work of apprentices
Perform electrical testing and commissioning
Comprehend / adhere to company policy safe work practices
JOB REQUIREMENTS
18 years of age with a valid ID
Current New Mexico State Journeyman Electrician License or Current Reciprocating License
New Mexico reciprocity agreements exist with Alaska, Arkansas, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nebraska, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, Utah and Wyoming
Have tools of the trade and be able to bring them to job with you
References to verify your professional skills and experience - A resume
Able to lift up to 50+ lbs and remain in a stationary position for extended periods
Reliable and able to work the assigned shift
Able to pass additional screens when applicable
Additional electricians tools will be provided on site - steel toed boots and hot/cold weather gear are your requirement
This work is not for the faint of heart - hard work, strong work ethic and positive attitude will serve you well
Safety must always be your FIRST priority

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated to range between $34.50 - $47.19 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including but not limited to experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate's skills and experience, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the pay range. The upper end of the range will generally be reserved for candidates with extensive skills and experience. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law.
