AECOM is actively seeking a talented and experienced Project Manager/Transit to join our World Class Transit Team in Pittsburgh, PA. Here you will have the opportunity to coordinate and provide technical expertise for mid to large-size transit projects, including Light Rail, Bus, and Facility improvements.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.
• Manages ongoing multi-discipline engineering work and delivers technical work product.
• Manages ongoing bidding and design support during construction of project.
• Approves and sign off on work.
• Provides scope and estimates for engineering proposals to meet requirements on medium and large, complex engineering projects.
• Develops and implements project management plans, including risk management and quality control procedures.
• Coordinates with various stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, and community representatives.
• Oversees project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
• Conducts regular project status meetings and prepares comprehensive reports for senior management and clients.
• Ensures compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in transit engineering and project management.
• Identifies and implements innovative solutions to complex transit engineering challenges.
• Participates in industry conferences and professional development activities to stay current with emerging trends and technologies in transit engineering.

Minimum Requirements:

• BA/BS + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• Valid Drivers License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices. As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review.

Preferred Requirements:

• Professional Engineer License or the ability to obtain within six months.
• Previous Civil and Transit Engineering experience preferred
• Previous Project Management experience preferred

• Relocation is not available for this position.
