Experienced Carpenter

PeopleReady Skilled Trades is hiring experienced carpenters to assist with a short-term installation project involving the assembly and placement of custom athletic carts at a local school. If you're a reliable finish carpenter with your own tools and strong attention to detail, this project is for you!

Note: The hourly rate for this position is $25 - $30 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.

Responsibilities:

• Job Duties: Unload pre-fabricated athletic carts from delivery trucks
• Assemble carts using provided hardware and drawings
• Install assembled carts in specific locations throughout the school
• Work with precision and craftsmanship to ensure clean, secure finishes
• Follow site safety protocols and wear all required PPE
• Assist with final cleanup and site organization as needed

Qualifications:

• Carpentry experience
• Able to lift heavy objects and move throughout the facility
• Comfortable using a variety of hand and power tools
• Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
• Must provide own tools and PPE (gloves, safety glasses, hard hat, etc.)
