**Job Description**

We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our team. You will play a crucial role in building and installing dust collection and ventilation systems, performing TIG welding on custom parts, mostly using thin gauge materials.

**Responsibilities**

+ Perform TIG welding on thin gauge materials, including stainless and carbon steel.

+ Read and interpret blueprints and perform layout, tacking, and welding of seams.

+ Assist fabricators and operate equipment such as shears, press brakes, grinders, rollers, and saws.

+ Work with personalized 16 to 14 gauge sheet metal and duct work.

+ Demonstrate excellent tape measure skills and some blueprint experience.

**Essential Skills**

+ At least 2 years of experience in TIG welding in a custom environment.

+ Proficiency in thin gauge metal fabricating.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

**Work Environment**

Our work environment is a metal shop with typical welding and fabricating noise and smells. We operate in a job shop setting, creating unique, one-off products, requiring adaptability to different needs. Enjoy working in a very nice, new shop with a supportive and collaborative team. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, with shifts from 5am to 4:30pm/5:30pm, often extending for overtime.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Denver, Pennsylvania.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
