Carpenter Foreman**

**Job Description**

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Carpentry Foreman with expertise in both painting and carpentry to lead maintenance and renovation projects within hospital settings. This role requires a strong understanding of healthcare facility standards, infection control protocols, and the ability to manage a team while ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and safety compliance.

**Responsibilities**

+ Supervise and coordinate daily activities of carpentry and painting crews on hospital projects.

+ Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.

+ Ensure all work complies with hospital safety standards, infection control policies, and building codes.

+ Perform hands-on carpentry and painting tasks as needed, including framing, drywall, cabinetry, surface preparation, and finishing.

+ Schedule and oversee preventive maintenance and repair work in patient rooms, surgical suites, and public areas.

+ Collaborate with hospital staff and contractors to minimize disruption to patient care.

+ Maintain accurate records of labor, materials, and project progress.

+ Train and mentor team members on best practices and safety procedures.

**Essential Skills**

+ High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in carpentry or painting preferred.

+ Minimum 5 years of experience in carpentry and painting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

+ Experience working in healthcare or hospital environments is highly desirable.

+ Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, ADA compliance, and infection control standards.

+ Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

+ Ability to read and interpret construction documents and technical drawings.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Technical training or certification in carpentry or painting preferred.

**Pay and Benefits**
