Our client is seeking an experienced Lead Fiber Construction Manager for an exciting - Direct Hire job opportunity. Although this position is remote work from home this person MUST sit in one of the following markets - Phoenix, Las Vegas, Charlotte, Minneapolis, Orlando/Panhandle or Wilkes-Barre.

Job Summary:

The Fiber Construction Inventory Manager is responsible for overseeing the inventory management of fiber optic construction materials and equipment. This role ensures that all necessary supplies are available for construction projects, manages inventory levels, and coordinates with suppliers and field teams to maintain efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Control: Develop and implement procedures to ensure accurate tracking of materials and equipment.
  • Supply Management: Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to prevent shortages and project delays.
  • Vendor Coordination: Communicate with suppliers to negotiate pricing, place orders, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Field Support: Collaborate with field teams to understand their material needs and deliver necessary supplies promptly.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, orders, and deliveries using inventory management software.
  • Reporting: Generate regular reports on inventory status, usage, and forecasts to support planning and budgeting.
  • Loss Prevention: Establish and enforce protocols to minimize inventory loss and ensure material security.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience: 3-5 years of experience in inventory management, preferably in construction or telecommunications.

Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, data analysis proficiency, and experience with inventory management software. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 - Advanced Warehouse System is a plus.

Certifications: Inventory or supply chain management certification is a plus.

Working Conditions:

  • Location: Remote, with occasional site visits required.
  • Hours: Full-time role during standard business hours; occasional overtime or weekend work may be necessary.

Pay Range: $120 - $125k plus bonus depending on experience. The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
