Job Description
A client with Kforce is seeking an Audit Trail Architect to join their team remotely. This person must be able to work EST hours. We are looking for a meticulous and security-focused Audit Trail Architect with 8+ years of experience in designing and implementing audit systems to ensure complete traceability and non-repudiation across all transactional and wallet interactions. This role is critical to establishing tamper-proof audit mechanisms that span development, staging, and production environments in highly secure and distributed ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain end-to-end audit trail frameworks to ensure all wallet and transaction activities are fully traceable and verifiable
- Implement cryptographic methods and secure logging practices to guarantee non-repudiation of actions
- Standardize audit data formats and transmission protocols across multi-environment architectures (dev/test/prod)
- Collaborate with engineering, compliance, and security teams to embed audit requirements into infrastructure and application workflows
- Define policies and guardrails for audit retention, access control, and data integrity validation
- Perform regular reviews and simulations to ensure audit trail reliability under operational and adversarial conditions
- Enable real-time alerting and forensic support through structured, queryable audit streams* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in secure logging, auditing frameworks, or security architecture, preferably in blockchain or distributed systems environments
- Deep understanding of cryptographic signatures, tamper-evident logs, and access control models
- Proficiency with tools such as ELK stack, Splunk, OpenTelemetry, or custom audit pipelines
- Strong knowledge of blockchain architectures, wallet protocols, and transaction flows
- Ability to translate regulatory and compliance requirements into scalable, technical audit strategies
