_Location: Kinston, NC | $35$37/hr | Full-time Consultant Role (6 months)_

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking skilled **Painters** to join our team in the **aerospace industry** where precision, craftsmanship, and innovation come together. This is your chance to be part of a world-class production team supporting one of the most advanced aircraft assembly facilities in the nation.

As a **Painter** , youll directly impact the quality and safety of next-generation aircraft. Every spray, stencil, and finish you apply helps ensure that our products meet the highest industry standards.

**What Youll Do Daily**

+ Apply top-tier finishes to aircraft components, assemblies, and parts

+ Perform masking, stenciling, media blasting, and part identification

+ Prepare surfaces by sanding or using pneumatic tools

+ Work with blueprints, process instructions, and customer specifications

+ Operate paint booths, lifts, scaffolds, and other manufacturing equipment

+ Conduct self-inspections and input quality data

+ Maintain cleanliness and organization in paint mix rooms and booths

+ Assist with minor equipment maintenance and repairs

+ Collaborate with technicians, support audits, and cross-train team members

+ Move products through manufacturing processes using cranes and ovens

**What Youll Need to Bring**

**Required:**

+ Aerospace painting experience

+ Flexibility to work **any shift** (MondayFriday)

+ Ability to pass a **respirator test**

+ Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed work instructions

+ Local candidates preferred

**Preferred:**

+ Familiarity with OSHA, ISO, Nadcap standards

+ Experience using air tools and performing equipment maintenance

+ Comfortable working at heights (ladders, lifts, scaffolding)

**Pay Details:** $35.00 to $37.00 per hour
