Industrial Painter**

**_Job Description_**
+ We are seeking a skilled **Industrial Painter** to select, mix, and apply paints according to industry specifications.
+ The role involves mixing and applying various primers and topcoat finishes, including polyurethanes, epoxies, lacquers, and clears, and requires attention to detail in stripping and other intricate work.
+ You will utilize detailed blueprints, fabrication, assembly outlines, sketches, patterns, and written or verbal instructions to execute tasks effectively.
+ The position requires setting up, maintaining, and operating typical shop equipment, such as conventional spray guns, blast booths, measuring devices, and paint shakers.
+ Additionally, managing paint inventory by monitoring, tracking, and ordering directly from suppliers is essential.
+ Select appropriate paint or mix paints according to industry specifications.
+ Mix and apply various primers and topcoat finishes with thickness requirements.
+ Use detailed blueprints, fabrication, assembly outlines, sketches, patterns, and instructions.
+ Set up, maintain, and operate typical shop equipment including spray guns, blast booth, and measuring devices.
**_Essential Skills_**
+ 4 years of painting experience in an industrial setting.
+ Ability to read and understand paint specifications and SWI (standard work instructions).
+ Must pass respirator testing.
+ Ability to operate a blast booth.
+ Proficiency in mixing, understanding, and applying application formulas.
+ Capability to operate painting spray or product coating equipment.
**_Work Environment_**
+ Join a medium-sized manufacturing company with 55 employees on site.
+ Work hours are from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, with potential future adjustment to four 10-hour days.
+ There is no weekend work, though some overtime may be required.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
