Survey Project Manager
Job Description

As a Survey Project Manager, you will work directly with clients and internal survey teams to manage project budgets and ensure accurate scheduling for survey crews. You will oversee survey capacity and be responsible for building relationships to sustain a backlog of construction survey work.

Responsibilities

  • Track and manage project budgets.
  • Ensure scheduling accuracy for survey crews.
  • Oversee required manpower for project execution.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Develop a backlog of construction survey work.
  • Manage workload and project deliverables within construction staking surveys.
Essential Skills
  • Experience in survey and surveying practices.
  • Proficiency in Civil 3D and construction survey.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets and project schedules.
  • Leadership experience with party chiefs directly reporting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Track to obtain PLS within 1-2 years.
  • Previous experience overseeing 3-5 surveyors.
Work Environment

The role offers a hybrid working environment with 2-3 days per week in the office. You will manage survey capacity without the need for direct review, as two surveyors with PLS handle the review process. The firm supports large projects and offers opportunities for rapid growth and PLS assistance.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.08 - $57.69/hr.
