The Estimator provides accurate and highly cost-efficient estimates, provides support to internal organization members, and is a team player who contrubutes to improved revenue and profitability for Sparks. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years experience in estimating in the trade show/exhibit industry.

This position will support our Estimating team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show-site 3 days per week. The ideal candidate will be based out of any of the following locations:

• Philadelphia, PA
• Dallas, TX
• Detroit, MI
• Ft. Wayne, IN

• Participate as a team player in providing overall value to the company
• Prepare estimates for construction of trade show exhibits and environments
• Maintain working relationship with vendors and subcontractors
• Research materials as they pertain to products availability
• Maintain estimate files and product reference library
• Recommend most cost-efficient materials and fabrication methods
• Operate computer spreadsheet programs for exhibit estimating
• Work in conjunction with Operations Manager on large projects
• Work with Account Executives on their estimating requirements
• Assist in projects not directly related to estimating
• Perform any other duties from time to time which business conditions may warrant
• Prepare all detailed proposal materials for all project presentations
• Act as lead to cross-train existing estimator in themed environment estimating.

• Trade and/or business school training
• Minimum 3 years experience in estimating in the trade show exhibit industry
• Excellent skills in Excel
• Ability to quickly adapt to new software
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Working knowledge of woodworking equipment and construction methods
• Proficient in Google Drive and Microsoft Office
• Strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a team player
• Ability to operate within a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
