Engineering Technician
PAY: 28-40/hr
DURATION: 6 months contract, potentially contract to hire
BENEFITS: Medical insurance, 401K, sick leave as applicable by state law, and EAP.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on support for assembling motors and motor prototype components.
- Use test equipment to perform comprehensive testing and evaluations of components and systems to confirm functionality and compliance with design specifications.
- Partner with engineers to build engine prototypes.
- Keep thorough and precise records of equipment servicing, repair work, and testing processes.
- Prepare detailed reports that summarize findings, test results, and suggested enhancements.
- Use critical thinking to resolve technical challenges and maintain high attention to detail.
- Accurately interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a mechanical engineering technician.
- Aerospace experience is ideal but not required.
- Experience working with test equipment.
- Practical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities and the capacity to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment.
