**Job Description:** We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Supply Chain & Estimator to manage procurement and logistics while developing accurate cost estimates for manufacturing projects. This hybrid role is crucial in driving operational efficiency, cost control, and timely delivery of products by integrating supply chain strategy with precise project costing.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Estimation Responsibilities:**

- Analyze customer drawings, specifications, and technical documents to prepare material, labor, and equipment cost estimates.

- Collaborate with engineering, production, and sales to create competitive and accurate quotes.

- Maintain and update costing databases, vendor pricing, and historical job data.

- Identify cost-saving opportunities during estimation, including alternate materials or processes.

- Support the transition from quote to production, ensuring project cost assumptions are clearly communicated.

- **Supply Chain Responsibilities:**

- Source and negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing, terms, and lead times for raw materials and components.

- Manage supplier relationships, including performance evaluations and compliance monitoring.

- Plan, coordinate, and monitor logistics of incoming materials and outgoing products.

- Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet production demands while minimizing carrying costs.

- Work closely with production to ensure material availability and resolve supply chain disruptions.

**Skills:**

- **Required:**

- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

- Strong communication and negotiation skills.

- **Preferred:**

- Experience with lean manufacturing, Just-In-Time (JIT) systems.

- Familiarity with CAD software.

**Knowledge:**

- **Required:**

- 3+ years of combined experience in supply chain, procurement, or cost estimation in a manufacturing environment.

**Ability to Implement:**

- **Required:**

- Ability to analyze and interpret complex technical documents.

- Capability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Competence in managing supplier relationships and negotiating terms.

- Proficiency in planning and coordinating logistics to ensure timely delivery.
