**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**

**Facilities Maintenance**

- Oversee day-to-day operations and upkeep of the manufacturing plant and office areas.

- Manage building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security, etc.) and coordinate repairs or upgrades.

- Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to ensure operational efficiency and facility readiness.

- Develop and manage facility budgets, capital improvement projects, and long-term infrastructure planning.

- Oversee grounds maintenance contractors and outside service providers.

- Purchase safety, environmental, maintenance, and custodial supplies.

- Occasional weekend work may be required for maintenance shutdowns or emergencies.

- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

**Maintenance Management:**

- Direct preventive, predictive, and correction maintenance programs to reduce downtime and optimize equipment reliability.

- Supervise maintenance personnel, including maintenance technician(s) and custodial staff.

- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and equipment records.

- Plan and oversee machinery upgrades, installations, and repairs to meet production needs.

- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

**Safety**

- Develop, implement, and enforce health and safety programs aligned with OSHA and local/state/federal regulations.

- Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and emergency response drills.

- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning.

- Promote a culture of safety across all levels of the organization through training, communication, and engagement.

- Organize/Coordinate/Chair/Document monthly Environmental Health & Safety Committee meetings.

- All other tasks as required to maintain safety standards and OSHA compliance.

- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

**Environmental**

- Leads ISO14001 regarding environmental/safety compliance.

- Conduct storm water audits and training.

- Compile environmental summary, and aspect reviews annually.

- Coordinate yearly universal waste disposal.

- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Industrial Technology, Facilities Management, or a related field (preferred).

- Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in facilities and maintenance management within the manufacturing or industrial setting.

- Previous supervisory experience required.

- Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and local safety regulations and compliance standards.
