Apprentice Painter

Stewart Painting Inc is seeking a motivated Painting

Apprentice to join our team. This entry-level role is ideal for

individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the painting industry

while working alongside experienced painters. The apprentice will assist

with interior and exterior painting projects, surface preparation, and

cleanup, ensuring quality finishes on both residential and commercial

properties. Responsibilities: Assist with surface preparation, including

sanding, scraping, patching, and priming. Mix, match, and apply paint,

stain, and finishes to various surfaces. Help set up and clean up job

sites, including taping, masking, and moving furniture. Operate painting

tools and equipment, such as brushes, rollers, and sprayers. Follow

safety procedures, including the proper use of ladders and scaffolding.

Work under the guidance of experienced painters to learn industry best

practices. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements: No prior painting experience required, but a willingness

to learn is essential. Ability to follow instructions and work as part

of a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.

Physically able to stand for long periods, climb ladders, and lift up to

50 lbs. Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather

conditions. Reliable transportation to and from job sites. A positive

attitude and strong work ethic. Preferred Qualifications: Previous

experience in construction, painting, or general labor is a plus.

Familiarity with basic painting tools and techniques. OSHA 10 or 30

Certification (or willingness to obtain).
