Supervisor is responsible for overseeing maintenance, renovation, and
compliance-related projects for City-owned buildings. This role ensures
the efficient management of trades workers, project coordination, and
regulatory adherence, particularly in asbestos, lead, and radon safety.
The incumbent optimizes resources, enforces safety standards, and
maintains security measures to support the functionality, safety, and
sustainability of municipal and school facilities. Additionally, the
Project Supervisor serves as a key point of contact for contractors,
city officials, and department leaders, ensuring projects are completed
on time, within budget, and to professional standards. We are an

our public service. QUALIFICATIONS Experience/Education: - High school
diploma or equivalent - Minimum of five years\' relative work
experience. - Must be skilled in at least two of the following trades:
carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, plastering and other trades
as determined by the department head. - License or Certificate of
competency in one of the trades to be supervised. - Valid Driver\'s
License. - Valid Construction Supervisor\'s License - Certification as
an Asbestos Coordinator or Supervisor within six (6) months of
appointment to position. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: - Ability to
operate modern office equipment. - Familiarity with the rules,
regulations, ordinances and laws governing the department served. -
Sound knowledge of the materials, methods, tools and techniques of the
building maintenance trades and skill in their use - Ability to work
from plans and specifications, to follow rough sketches and oral
instructions, layout work and perform tasks with little technical
supervision. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant
software for project management and administrative tasks - Ability to
carry out routine administrative details independently, make decisions
in the absence of the director. - Strong organizational and
problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects
simultaneously. - Excellent leadership and communication skills to
effectively coordinate with employees, contractors, and city
officials. - Ability to establish and maintain positive working
relationships with staff, public officials, and external partners. -
Ability to meet the working conditions and physical requirements as
outlined below, with our without reasonable accommodation(s). HOURS 40
hours per week Monday-Friday, 7:00AM - 3:30PM SALARY Starting rate
