Shopbop is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our Business Development team, focusing on cross-functional project management and internal operations. This role will serve as the key liaison between Business Development initiatives and both internal and external stakeholders, facilitating smooth execution of partnerships and programs. The ideal candidate will combine strong account management skills with marketing acumen to drive operational excellence and profitability across initiatives.

This position will be responsible for implementing and maintaining best practices in project management, developing comprehensive partnership activation plans, and ensuring profitable execution of all Business Development initiatives. The role requires close collaboration with multiple internal teams including Marketing, Creative, Buying, Merchandising, Tech, and Finance to deliver seamless partner integrations and program launches. We are seeking a detail-oriented professional who excels at stakeholder management, has strong organizational capabilities, and can maintain high operational standards while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Key job responsibilities
As a driving force behind critical Business Development initiatives for Shopbop, you will:

* Develop and execute comprehensive strategies for high-profile partnerships and programs that drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth
* Lead cross-functional teams to deliver seamless integrations of new marketing and shopping experiences across our platform
* Implement best-in-class project management methodologies to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of complex initiatives with multiple workstreams
* Serve as the key liaison between Business Development, Marketing, Creative, Buying, Merchandising, Finance, and Technology teams to align objectives, resources, and timelines
* Analyze program performance, identifying optimization opportunities, and presenting strategic recommendations to senior leadership
* Cultivate relationships with external partners to create unique value propositions and drive mutual success

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Proven track record of leading complex, - cross-functional projects with significant business impact
- Experience managing cross-functional - projects and stakeholder relationships
- Proven track record of developing and executing both organic and paid marketing programs
- Strong analytical skills and experience with profitability analysis
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Deep understanding of the fashion industry, e-commerce landscape, and digital marketing strategies
- Bachelors Degree

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field
- Experience in media advertising, retail media, or agency account management
- Background in marketing operations or creative services
- Experience with fashion or luxury brands
- Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools
- Sports experience a plus

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $72,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $155,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
