Machine Operator

If you enjoy building comfort, design and quality then you may be interested in our clients Machine Operator opportunity. In this role, you will be responsible in the making of top quality mattresses. Must be experienced working with pneumatic tools, and machining. salary: $35,000 - $35,001 per year
shift: First
work hours: 6 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities

Requirements:

• Sets up and operates automatic or semiautomatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation.
• Monitors the process using meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications.
• Responsible for: Coiling, Foam Encasement, Assembly, Gluing, Sewing, Borders, Quilting, Closing and Packing.
• Manufactures sufficient quantities of quality products per specified standards.
• Assembles mechanical units, fabricated parts/components and/or electrical/electronic systems to make subassemblies, assemblies or complete units using hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures and miscellaneous equipment.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years or older.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Entry level sewing experience is a plus!
• Previous experience in manufacturing environment preferred
