We're looking for a highly skilled administrator to manage the operational backbone of our custom residential construction projects. This office-based role (with minimal fieldwork) demands a professional who can expertly handle multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring financial precision and seamless communication.
What You'll Be Doing:
Oversee project financials from planning through completion, meticulously tracking budgets and conducting reviews with clients to ensure adherence.
Coordinate critical client and designer selections, ensuring all deadlines are met and documented.
Collaborate with estimators to obtain and review bids for project elements.
Prepare and manage project documentation, including creating and tracking purchase orders, submittals, and Requests for Information (RFIs), securing necessary approvals.
Provide essential administrative support to our field operations teams.
Review and verify cost coding for all vendor invoices and credit card receipts.
Maintain comprehensive project records, ensuring both digital and physical files are organized and accessible.
Compile final project closeout documentation.
What You'll Bring:
At least 5 years of administrative or project management experience within the custom residential construction sector.
Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop, specifically in job costing, client billing, and vendor management.
Expert-level Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and developing project tracking tools.
Proven ability to accurately read and interpret construction blueprints and related documents.
Exceptional time management and project prioritization abilities.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, designers, field teams, and other stakeholders.
A Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Business, or a related field is a plus, but equivalent experience will also be considered.
