Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our growing team on the Northside of Jacksonville, Florida. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a strong background in power systems, industrial automation, control systems, and electrical project management.
Responsibilities:
-Design and implement electrical systems for industrial facilities.
-Create and revise single-line diagrams, wiring schematics, and panel layouts using AutoCAD Electrical or similar tools.
-Manage power distribution systems, low- and medium-voltage equipment, motor controls, and VFDs.
-Program, troubleshoot, and support PLC and HMI systems (Allen-Bradley, Siemens preferred).
-Conduct arc flash studies, load calculations, and root-cause analysis.
-Ensure designs meet NEC, NFPA 70E, and other relevant codes and standards.
-Support installation, testing, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance of systems.
-Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, production, and maintenance staff.
Qualifications:
-Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (required).
-Minimum of 510+ years of hands-on experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
-Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical, or similar CAD tools.
-Deep understanding of control panels, power distribution, and automated systems.
-Strong knowledge of industrial safety standards, including electrical safety and lockout/tagout procedures.
