THE WORK
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise in design, producibility, fabrication, program management, and production control.

This role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve design/manufacturing issues, develop strategies to improve metrics performance, and ensure the efficient production of high-quality products.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, hardware design, manufacturing engineering, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

This position requires a candidate who is a U.S. Citizen and the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance. The role is located at a facility that requires special access.

A level 3 employee is typically mid-career and has 3 to 5+ or more years of professional experience.

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in an engineering discipline, with 5 years of professional experience or 3 years with a related Masters degree
Experience in design and/or manufacturing engineering
Proficient with electronic systems schematic interpretation, electrical circuit design, electrical cable design, equipment troubleshooting, and repair
Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project Experience managing fabrication schedules, monitor manufacturing build status, and prioritize workflow in partnership with manufacturing and engineering teams and customers
Experience developing and executing manufacturing budgets, tracking change management, conducting new program launches, and tracking project procurements
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures. Experience providing input to product design regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques
Experience in manufacturing engineering, with a focus on design producibility, fabrication, program management, and production control
CAM experience with tracking project labor and material cost and schedule performance
Knowledge of Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) practices, principles, compliance regulations, setting up manufacturing budgets and metrics (both labor and material)
Familiarity with Engineering Change Control Processes, Zuken E3, EPDM, and Visio.
Familiarity with agile methodologies and lean principles
Experience with Confluence, Jira, and Tableau
