Commissioning Controls Technicians

Overview:

Seeking a detail-oriented Commissioning Engineer to support scheduling, quality assurance, and system integration for Basebuild utility systems. This role involves coordinating commissioning activities, troubleshooting system issues, and interfacing with design and construction teams. Please expect 5 x 10 hour shifts, with 1.5 OT offered after 40 hours. Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate technician schedules and manpower forecasts
  • Track and resolve commissioning constraints and deficiencies
  • Integrate construction/design schedules with commissioning timelines
  • Conduct system walkdowns and root cause failure analysis
  • Train and manage supplier access in commissioning software
  • Generate reports on schedule and quality metrics
  • Collaborate with engineering teams and client representatives
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years in commissioning or construction (I&C or Electrical systems)
  • Experience with Rockwell Automation, PLC5, and Control Logix
  • Familiarity with large capital projects and multi-discipline teams
  • Strong understanding of process systems, P&IDs, SCADA, and BMS
  • Proficient in reading technical drawings and conducting I/O checkouts
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
Preferred:
  • Bachelors or Associates degree in engineering or related field
  • 3+ years working with control systems in data centers or similar environments

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $36.00/hr.
