Job Description We are seeking a skilled and proactive Construction Superintendent to oversee the day-to-day operations of diverse construction projects, including urban infill developments, mixed-use buildings, historic renovations, and commercial spaces. The ideal candidate will coordinate field activities, manage subcontractors, ensure safety compliance, and maintain project schedules and quality standards. Experience with adaptive reuse, brownfield redevelopment, and multi-family construction is highly valued. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities
- Coordinate field activities to ensure efficient project execution.
- Manage subcontractors to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Ensure safety compliance in accordance with OSHA standards.
- Maintain project schedules and quality standards.
- Oversee adaptive reuse, brownfield redevelopment, and multi-family construction projects.
- 5+ years of experience successfully managing commercial construction projects as a superintendent.
- Proficiency in construction management software.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to solve complex problems effectively.
- Experience with adaptive reuse and brownfield redevelopment.
- Knowledge of construction safety protocols and OSHA 30 certification.
- Familiarity with Procore and RFI processes.
- Experience in hospitality, retail, mixed-use, and office construction.
