Mechanical Engineer
Job Description

The Mechanical Engineer will play a vital role in supporting both new product development and sustaining efforts for a significant project. The role involves hardware mechanical changes and the creation of 3D models, with 60% of the time dedicated to new product development. The engineer will utilize SolidWorks for design, support change orders, and conduct testing of designs.

Responsibilities

  • Support new product development and sustaining efforts.
  • Implement hardware mechanical changes and create 3D models.
  • Design using SolidWorks and support change orders.
  • Conduct testing of designs.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in mechanical engineering and design.
  • Experience with SolidWorks.
  • Familiarity with GD&T and testing of designs.
  • Experience with sheet metal and medical device design.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience with mechanical design.
  • 3+ years of experience with SolidWorks design.
  • 3+ years of experience with GD&T/testing of designs.
  • 3+ years of experience working within a PDM.
Work Environment

The role is part of a large new platform R&D project, which supports the creation of new drawings and parts for a new generation platform. The work environment offers an exciting opportunity to gain additional medical device experience while working on a dynamic R&D project.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.01 - $43.27/hr.
