Superintendent of Construction
Job Description

The Superintendent of Construction will collaborate with subcontractors to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing plans, maintaining the schedule, and documenting progress through photographs and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with subcontractors to maintain the project schedule and budget.
  • Review and analyze construction plans to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Document project progress using photographs and spreadsheets.
  • Ensure subcontractors adhere to schedule commitments.
  • Supervise site construction activities to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  • Provide regular updates and project documentation to stakeholders.
  • Oversee the completion of projects with owners, ensuring all punch list items are addressed.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in construction management and subcontractor management.
  • Experience with project scheduling and site construction supervision.
  • Strong safety management skills.
  • Ability to document project updates and progress efficiently.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a superintendent on multifamily or commercial projects.
  • Experience in reviewing construction documents and managing project punch lists.
Work Environment

The role requires working on construction sites, managing various subcontractors and ensuring safety standards are upheld. The position may involve both indoor and outdoor work environments, necessitating appropriate attire for construction settings.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.40 - $48.07/hr.
