Job Description Summary

Position Responsibilities:

  • Plan, direct, and manage all phases of temporary structure construction projects, from design through completion.
  • Supervise and train multiple supervisors and remote field crews, ensuring accountability and adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Develop and monitor project budgets, implementing cost control measures to maximize efficiency and profitability.
  • Coordinate logistics, including crew travel, equipment, and material sourcing, to support seamless project execution.
  • Communicate with sales, clients, engineers, and vendors to define project scope, resolve issues, and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Conduct regular site visits (25% travel, approximately one week per month) and utilize project management tools for remote oversight. Additional travel as required.
  • Enforce safety regulations, report incidents thoroughly, and promote a safe work environment .
  • Prepare schedules, reports, and documentation to track performance, mitigate risks, and ensure timely administrative tasks.
  • Build relationships with key clients, vendors, and industry professionals to support project success and company growth.
  • Facilitate training in safe equipment operation (e.g., forklifts, man-lifts) and maintain vehicles in safe condition.
  • Analyze and resolve operational challenges to optimize team performance.
  • Conduct staff meetings to align teams and share updates.
  • Network with industry and local business communities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Education and other requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Construction Manager, preferably with temporary structures or similar projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
  • Ability to manage budgets, prioritize problems, and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to motivate teams and maintain client relationships.
  • Valid drivers license, ability to pass a company drug screen, and obtain a TWIC Card.
  • Full range of motion, dexterity, and professional appearance.
  • Proficiency in project management software for remote monitoring and reporting.
  • Management-level experience and computer knowledge.
  • Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (not required but preferred).

Base Pay Range: $73,040.00 - 100,430.00

You will become eligible for benefits on the first of the month following 30 days from your start date. Sunbelt offers team members the following time off from work, subject to Sunbelts policies: twelve to twenty-five vacation days depending on years of service; five sick days; six paid holidays, two paid half day holidays, two floating holidays, one inclusion day, and one volunteer day (unless specified in a collective bargaining agreement).
