Summary
The Sales Representative is responsible for prospecting, contacting, and interacting with Apex Roofing customers throughout the sales and project installation cycle. The position requires an understanding of Apexs goals, strategic initiatives, and the ability to put these into action in the marketplace. The Sales Representative must provide outstanding communication with both customers and fellow employees, keep track of leads and estimates in the various stage of the sales cycle, and maintain a high standard of customer service to potential and existing customers. The Sales Representative is the face of Apex in their community.
Essential Functions
1.Maintaining customer profiles in CRM on a weekly basis.
2.Self-generating leads through door knocking and networking
3.A bonus structure is in place for exceeding the requirement and penalties are in place for failing to meet the requirement.
4.Setting appointments with provided leads
5.Conducting inspections
6.Take photos during the inspection (see photo list)
7.Bidding jobs off of the provided price sheet
8.Attending adjuster meetings as needed
9.You need to make it to every adjuster meeting. If you cant make it you need to communicate that with your sales manager so someone can cover it. No exceptions
10.Communicating start dates/ material drop off dates with the customer
11.Note this communication in Nimbus
12.Maintaining communication with the customer throughout the install process
13.Conducting a final walk through with the customer after the job is completed
14.Take care of minor clean up issues/ roll the yard with a magnet during the final walk through
15.Collecting and depositing checks
16.Requesting reviews from customers you believe had a positive experience.

Education and Work Experience
2 to 5 years sales experience
Prior roofing or residential construction experience (preferred)
Work Environment
This position operates in a variety of environments, including outdoors for roof inspections, in customer homes, and in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and smartphones. When in the field, the employee is regularly exposed to sunlight, heat, cold, and other weather; the employee occasionally works near construction areas and around moving mechanical parts.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; lift up to 20lbs; walk; handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Use of a ladder and walking on roofs will be required.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a contract position (1099 designation) that will be compensated with commission on sales plus bonus structure. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
This position will require traveling throughout the service area to conduct inspections, customer consultations, and sales prospecting.
Other Duties
This list is not exclusive and other duties may be assigned as needed to achieve company goals. The Sales Representative must be ready to stand in the gap and provide assistance to other team members as necessary to protect Apexs customer relations. All Apex employees are encouraged to share ideas about how to best serve Apexs customers and create raving fans.
