Harry Braswell, Inc. has been a leading renovation company in Alexandria, VA for over 40 years. We have several divisions: Residential and Commercial General Contracting, Design-Build, Concierge Home Services, Excavation and Waterproofing, and The Gentleman Plumber. We have 47 employees including both office and field personnel. We specialize in the renovation of older homes, and work in high-end homes for homeowners that expect first-rate work.

Position Summary
We are looking for talented carpenters and skilled handymen to join our Concierge Services team. The Concierge Services team manages our smaller residential projects such as simple bathroom renovations, window and door replacements, drywall, painting, and other miscellaneous handyman projects. Projects can range between a few hours to a few weeks in scope.

We are looking for a self-starter who can manage their time effectively. The role requires drive and a sense of accountability when the day-to-day working environment involves little direct supervision.

Responsibilities
-Communicate with manager on a daily basis
-Provide own tools and transportation
-Follow given directions for each project
-Find creative solutions to any problems that arise
-Use of technology to record project notes, photos, receipts, timesheets, etc.

Qualifications
-Residential framing and finish carpentry experience (required)
-Some experience with drywall, painting, tile, plumbing, electrical and mechanical
-Comfortable with mobile technology
-Verbal communication skills

Compensation
-Hourly pay commensurate with experience
-40 hour work week
