Pay Rate: Up to $42.26/hr (based on level and experience)
Contract Duration: 6 Months (with possible extension)
Project Launch: July 7, 2025

Raise Workforce is working with a well-established electrical contractor specializing in commercial lighting and power systems for supermarkets and office spaces. Due to ongoing growth, theyre bringing on multiple Electricians for the day shift team. Openings are available for Journeypersons as well as 2nd through 5th Year Apprentices. Pay rates are tiered to match your experience and credentials.

Duties Will Include:
- Installing and servicing commercial electrical systems
- Interpreting drawings and code specs to plan installations
- Running wire, connecting circuits, mounting brackets and fixtures
- Performing repairs and preventative maintenance on electrical systems and components
- Conducting inspections and ensuring compliance with applicable codes
- Troubleshooting using various tools and testing equipment
- Power connections for HVAC, signage, A/V systems, etc.
- Keeping the job site tidy and following all safety protocols
- Working closely with crew members to meet site goals
- Tracking tools, materials, and job documentation accurately
- Maintaining punctuality and reliability on scheduled shifts
- Attending safety briefings and planning meetings as required

Who Were Looking For:
- Registered 2nd Year Apprentice to Red Seal/Journeyperson
- Must hold current Fall Protection and Scissor Lift (AWP) tickets, and CSTS 2020
- Confident reading blueprints and working from schematics
- Commercial construction experience including EMT conduit installs
- Strong communicator and team player
- Able to work solo or collaboratively on site
- Professional, adaptable, and ready to work in a fast-paced setting
- Experience with emergency backup generators is a bonus

Milage covered up to 150kms, additional travel reimbursement and referral bonus available.
