Intermediate Architect / Architect Intern

Lx Design Studio is hiring an intermediate architect or architectural intern with 5+ years of experience to join our architectural design firm specializing in luxury residential design and small commercial projects. We pride ourselves on creating architecture that exceeds our clients expectations with architecture that is innovative, sustainable, and enhances the way we live, work and play.

This role involves managing projects with strong design sensibility, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a professional, self-directed way. This role can be flexible with remote work / hybrid/ or full time in office. US residents only.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with the principal
• Lead project development from early design through construction
• Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, consultants, and suppliers
• Coordinate drawing packages and review shop drawings
• Participate in project meetings and site visits as needed
• Produce high-quality design and technical documents using Revit
• Manage project timelines and deliverables

Qualifications

• Accredited degree in architecture
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience
• Strong skills in 3d design drawing (Revit, SketchUp,)
• Strong design and detailing ability
• Confident communicator, able to build and maintain relationships
• Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities
• Familiarity with residential and small public building types

Compensation
