Mechanical Design Engineer

Growing manufacturer south of Arkansas City is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to add to their team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years of engineering experience in manufacturing and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Proficiency with Pro-E or similar 3-D software required. Knowledge of ERP systems highly preferred, as well as experience in a custom manufacturing environment. Excellent benefits and relocation!

responsibilities:

• Create new products from conception to production while performing various tasks.
  
  
• Make weldment prints and piece part prints for steel fabricated products
  
  
• Design large pieces of equipment that are 80,000 and above GVW. (Similar experience may be considered).
  
  
• Research design function and cost effectiveness as well as usabiliity, safety and environmental impact

Requirements:

• B.S. in Engineering
  
  
• At least 3 years of mechanical design experience in manufacturing
  
  
• Lean manufacturing
  
  
• Experience with ERP software
  
  
• Proficiency with Pro-E or similar 3-D software
  
  
• Leadership abilities and excellent communication skills
