WHAT WE ARE OFFERING
The lead carpenter position pays between $35 - $41 an hour, but may initially start lower for the first 2 weeks if your skillset seems questionable upon your interview. Lakewood has a lot of room for growth and promotions to higher ranked positions, which we encourage and help employees achieve.

40 hours of paid-time-off (PTO) a year. (PTO does not become effective until 1 year with Lakewood Construction as a full-time employee.)

Our in-house CPA (certified public accountant) can file your taxes (starting with your 2024 tax return) for free if you (and your spouse) have a basic tax return (i.e., no side-businesses, rental properties, estates, etc.).

Lakewood Construction specializes exclusively in building high-performance custom homes as well as remodels of the same caliber. Because of our specialty, we are a builder that maintains an in-house crew full-time so we can control the quality of the work we provide our clients.
Our projects are located in the exclusive communities of Coeur dAlene such as Gozzer Ranch, Black Rock, and the CDA National Reserve. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking to hire a lead carpenter with a minimum of 7-10 years of framing and/or concrete experience. The goal is to promote/transition this person to the superintendent role. So you will be expected to regularly assist with daily job reports and create takeoff and cut lists. However, there may be times that framing/concrete work isnt available, so we need you to be able to handle the following tasks:
Wood siding
Interior trim
Setting windows and exterior doors
You are required to have a basic set of tools including the following:
*Tool bags
*Drill set
*Skill saw
*Sawzall
*Master 5 Construction Calculator
And of course, we expect you to have good interpersonal skills when working in our crew. Additionally, the type of clientele we work with expects us to dress professionally. You can expect to work 40 hours a week from 7:00am to 3:00pm from Monday through Friday.
