Position: Analog/Mixed-Signal Design Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Analog/Mixed-Signal Design Engineer to focus on high-performance analog-to-digital (ADC) and digital-to-analog (DAC) converters. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing transistor-level circuits, starting from initial specifications through design, layout supervision, silicon evaluation, characterization, and final product introduction to the market.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in high-performance analog or mixed-signal IC development in advanced CMOS processes.
- Familiarity with high-speed, high-resolution ADC or DAC data converter design and building block circuits such as bandgap references, op-amps, comparators, oscillators, DLL, PLL, etc.
- Experience evaluating silicon on bench and proficiency with standard lab equipment.
- Strong analytical and intuitive understanding of transistor-level circuit design, including noise and mismatch analysis.
- Experience with analog and digital behavioral modeling.
- Proficiency with Cadence schematic capture, Virtuoso, Spectre, and/or HSPICE circuit simulation tools.
- Knowledge of layout parasitic extraction tools and layout-dependent impairments in advanced CMOS processes.
- Ability to work independently and adhere to schedules.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with geographically dispersed teams.
- Proactive in seeking help and continuous learning.
