Fabricator**
**Job Description**
As a Fabricator, you will play a critical role by preparing materials for welding operations. This includes reading blueprints, measuring materials accurately, and ensuring everything is in place before the welding team begins work. You'll be required to be on your feet for the entire shift and move around the plant as necessary.
**Pay:** $21.30hr
**Location:** Ashland City, TN
**Responsibilities**
+ Lay out materials and prepare for welders.
+ Read and interpret blueprints.
+ Measure materials accurately.
+ Ensure readiness of materials for welding.
+ Maintain a high level of organization and efficiency.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in Flux Core, MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
+ Experience with stainless, carbon, and structural steel.
+ 3-6 months of previous welding experience.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Successful completion of a weld test (1-5F).
+ Completion of an on-site weld school within the first two weeks, if offered.
+ Ability to work efficiently in a hot outdoor environment.

**Work Environment**
The work environment is outdoors and can become very hot. You are expected to work on either the 1st shift (Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 3:30 pm) or the 2nd shift (Monday to Friday, 3:15 pm to 12:45 am). Dress code includes steel toe ankle-high leather boots, long sleeves, and pants. Contacts are not permitted due to welding smoke.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.30 - $21.30/hr.
