Carpenter**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled commercial carpenter to undertake various small projects for commercial clients. The role involves rough and finish carpentry, hardware installation, miscellaneous repairs, and basic building maintenance. Additionally, candidates are responsible for completing daily reports and other client-specific paperwork for each project.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform rough carpentry and finish carpentry tasks.
+ Install hardware and carry out miscellaneous repairs.
+ Complete basic building maintenance.
+ Fill out daily reports and client-specific paperwork for each project.
+ Deliver strong customer service as the face of the business.
**Essential Skills**
+ 5+ years of carpentry and/or maintenance experience.
+ Strong customer service skills.
+ Ability to drive and work on job sites throughout Western Washington.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Specific trade specialization in electrical, HVAC, or plumbing is a plus.

**Work Environment**
Candidates will report to the shop in Tacoma, where they will pick up a service van daily. Work is carried out on small and large commercial sites such as banks, hospitals, and office buildings. The role requires working Monday through Friday with a start time between 6 and 7 am.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tacoma, Washington.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
