As a Flagger Foreperson, you will take charge of traffic control and flagging operations across project sites in the Northwest Region. You will lead flagging crews, ensure strict adherence to state and federal traffic control standards, and play a key role in maintaining safety during telecommunications and construction work in active roadway environments.

Essential Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise flaggers and traffic control personnel to ensure safe and efficient operations
Implement and enforce traffic control plans in compliance with DOT, local regulations, and ATSSA guidelines
Conduct daily safety meetings, job site hazard assessments, and promote a strong safety culture
Act as the primary liaison between field crews and safety management teams
Maintain traffic control equipment, signage, and ensure crew certifications are up to date
Oversee daily construction activities to meet production goals and ensure quality standards
Accurately read, interpret, and input data while managing required site documentation
Provide on-site leadership, training, and mentorship to promote continuous learning and development
Qualifications:
Three or more years of telecommunications or utility construction experience
ATSSA Flagger Supervisor certification or equivalent training (such as state-approved traffic control supervisor training that meets or exceeds ATSSA standards)
Proven experience leading flaggers and implementing traffic control plans
Demonstrated knowledge of work zone safety principles, hazard mitigation, and temporary traffic control layout
ATSSA Traffic Control Technician (TCT) or Traffic Control Supervisor (TCS) certifications
OSHA 10 or 30 certification is required
Solid understanding of current construction practices and familiarity with construction documents
Must be capable of interpreting and applying the Manual of Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) and project-specific traffic plans
Work Conditions:
This is a site-based position that will require travel throughout the states of Montana
Able to meet the physical requirements of the position which involves sitting, standing, bending, climbing, lifting (up to 50 pounds), and working in all types of weather conditions (rain, snow, heat etc.)
A live-out-allowance (LOA), accommodations, and company vehicle will be provided
