Job Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electronic controls of automated production equipment and electrical equipment installations.
This position is for the MIDNIGHT shift.
Duties and responsibilities - Job Specific
Install, test, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, control devices and equipment.
Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, electrical code specifications and schematics in order to effectively troubleshoot, maintain and repair equipment.
Diagnose, locate the cause of, and repair malfunctioning systems and components using test equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance through inspection of electrical systems, equipment and components.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance records.
Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
Direct and train other workers and apprentices to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
Work on other electrical projects as required.
Perform infrared imaging of all electrical panels as required.
Record all information in plant PM software as required.
Assist electrical technician in root-causing equipment electrical
Duties and Responsibilities - Standards
Respond to all line calls in a timely matter.
Assist maintenance team in EWO completion.
Validate changes as needed.
Communicate shift issues with coworkers.
Process and complete all PM's and work orders within assign timeline.
Clean up work areas as needed and return all hardware, tools and material back to original location. Clean and sweep area as required.
Qualifications
Must have a 309A license. Basic knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems. Preferred 3-4 years experience in field or equivalent. Must be able to discern colors and shades. Must be willing to learn PLC and robot programming.
