The Automation Machine Operator assists the Production Supervisor / OperationsManager by operating our contact automation machines to support monthlyproduction goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Reads, interprets, and follows blueprints and job instructions to accuratelypackage electrical components including connectorsExcellent understanding of GD&TPerforms in-process checks to ensure products meet internal and customerquality standardsAdhere to sound manufacturing processes and safety standardsAssists Production Supervisors with all aspects of KPI requirements (Safety,Quality, Delivery, Inventory and Cost)Drives Lean & 5S culture across responsible areasMaintain accurate, counts and records of daily transactions of materials,Works-In-Progress, and finished goods through assigned areas, whether manuallyor electronicallyExperience with robots, automation, machinery, or other potentiallydangerous/harmful equipment is a plusOther duties as needed

Job Requirements

Operates our automated contact machines daily, ensuring productionschedules are metIdentifies issues from machine errors and test results, basictroubleshooting skills requiredKeep management and supervisors aware of supply shortages to ensureoperational capabilityFacilitating the preparation of Works-In-Progress and finished goods forshipment with urgency in respect to delivery dates and shipping timelinesCapable of identifying parts and materials from specifications, drawings, orinstructionsWork with peers and management to facilitate and ensure timely processing ofparts and materialsWill work with all tools, gauges, precise measuring equipment, weighingequipment, and automated equipment necessary to complete tasksStrong communication, Core Value commitment & excellent attendanceIntermediate computer skillsMotivated self-starter, possesses abilities to work under generalsupervision
