JOB REQUIREMENTS: Test performance of electromechanical assemblies,
using test instruments such as oscilloscopes, electronic voltmeters, or
bridges. Install or program computer hardware or machine or
instrumentation software in microprocessor-based systems. Read
blueprints, schematics, diagrams, or technical orders to determine
methods and sequences of assembly. Modify, maintain, or repair
electrical, electronic, or mechanical components, equipment, or systems
to ensure proper functioning. Install electrical or electronic parts and
hardware in housings or assemblies, using soldering equipment and hand
tools. Align, fit, or assemble component parts, using hand or power
tools, fixtures, templates, or microscopes. Produce electrical,
electronic, or mechanical drawings or other related documents or
graphics necessary for electromechanical design, using computer-aided
design (CAD) software. Select electromechanical equipment, materials,
components, or systems to meet functional specifications. Identify
energy-conserving production or fabrication methods, such as by bending
metal rather than cutting and welding or casting metal. Prepare written
documentation of electromechanical test results. Develop, test, or
program new robots. Fabricate or assemble mechanical, electrical, or
electronic components or assemblies. \*\*\*\*\* OTHER EXPERIENCE AND
QUALIFICATIONS: Universal Thermal Service Inc. is a small niche business
in the thermal spray industry. We are seeking an
Electro-Mechanical/Calibration Technician\[s\] that is willing to travel
when needed. We are in the field of thermal spray coatings; where
powdered metals, ceramics, and polymers are melted and sprayed onto a
substrate where they freeze to create a desired hard, protective surface
onto the substrate beneath. Our mission is to assist companies in
maintaining their thermal spray systems for optimum functionality in
electrical controls, pneumatics, mechanical and device calibrations. We
repair and rebuild thermal spray equipment in our shop to perform as
originally intended. We travel to onsite locations to calibrate,
troubleshoot these system\[s\], providing them a solution to their
equipment issue, electrical, mechanical and pneumatically. We are
seeking a technician having the following skills: 1. Enjoys working with
people/customers 2. Enjoys to be the problem solver 3. Understands
electrical controls basics 4. Understands electrical schematics 5.
Understands mechanical 6. Understand pneumatics is helpful 7.
Understands use of multi-meter, pressure testers, amp clamps, mass flow
