Welder/Fabricator**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled 1st shift welder/fabricator to join our team and assist in completing complex stainless steel projects for various clients. The role involves reading welding blueprints, interpreting welding call outs, determining component layouts, and performing TIG welding, with occasional MIG welding. Additionally, the position includes finishing work and secondary operations.
**Responsibilities**
+ Read and interpret welding blueprints.
+ Identify welding call outs and determine component layouts.
+ Perform TIG welding with precision and occasional MIG welding.
+ Conduct finishing work and secondary operations to ensure quality.
+ Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in TIG welding with at least 4 years of experience.
+ Minimum of 3 years experience in Stainless Steel TIG welding.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.
+ High attention to detail in fabrication processes.
+ Ownership of personal welding helmet, gloves, and tools (mostly metric).
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with MIG welding and fabrication.
+ Knowledge of food-grade stainless steel welding.
+ Familiarity with aluminum welding.

The work environment is a large fabrication shop specializing in stainless steel components that support the food production industry. The position operates during the 1st shift, from 5:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hudson, Wisconsin.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
