Project Manager-Operational Readiness & M&A Integration

We are seeking a detail-oriented and execution-focused Project Manager with hands-on experience in M&A integration or high-growth services environments. In this role, you will manage integration and operational readiness from approximately 30 days pre-close through post-acquisition or greenfield launch (up to 6 months). You will lead cross-functional meetings, ensure systems and teams are aligned, and serve as a key communication point between acquired companies and internal stakeholders.
This role also includes maintaining the M&A pipeline and preparing executive-level presentations and reports for senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
Integration & Launch Planning
- Support planning and execution of integration projects across departments including HR, IT, Finance, Legal, Safety, and Field Operations.
- Lead multiple weekly meetings with functional teams and acquired company contacts to ensure alignment and accountability.
- Develop and manage project timelines, checklists, and issue/risk logs.
- Track readiness and drive execution of Day 1 activities and post-close milestones up to 6 months.
System and Data Coordination
- Coordinate the onboarding and alignment of systems such as HRIS, Salesforce, Procore, payroll, and vendor management tools.
- Support data collection, master data cleanup, and system migration pre- and post-close.
- Ensure consistent documentation and process alignment across functional areas.
Pipeline Management and Executive Support
- Maintain the M&A target tracking pipeline and update it regularly for funnel reviews.
- Prepare executive-level decks and reports summarizing integration progress, risk areas, and upcoming milestones.
- Track synergy realization and operational KPIs tied to integration success.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as a liaison between internal departments and newly acquired or launched entities.
- Facilitate onboarding of new team members and communicate integration tasks clearly to stakeholders.
- Ensure alignment of priorities and timely resolution of integration-related issues.
Greenfield Office Support
- Assist with the setup and launch of new office locations using the same framework as acquisitions.
- Coordinate readiness across HR, IT, Compliance, and Operations for new branches.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Strategy, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in project management, operations, or integration.
- Experience in M&A integration or high-growth business environments is required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills; confident leading recurring team meetings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and presentation creation.
- Familiarity with project management tools.
- Experience in construction, logistics, or field services is a plus.
- PMP or similar certification is preferred but not required.
Travel Requirement: Up to 20% for site visits and integration support
