Sr Project Engineer

Description

We are hiring a Sr. Project Engineer consultant to manage a short-term major capital project for a Mt. Sterling, KY-based manufactuer. You'll maintain visibility to the design process and assure adherence to all established key components and project deliverables. Additionally, you will be the key communicator between clients as well as various stakeholders as you directly manage overall project execution including construction commissioning qualification and verification.

Job Responsibilities

  • Drive the quoting process simultaneously for multiple projects.
  • Assist in the development of pre-project approval documents including project charter project management plan project kick start estimate and milestone schedule creation.
  • Provide constructability reviews during the design process.
  • Ensure design progress and deliverables are met in adherence to established project key components.
  • Attend progress meetings and prepare required reports.
  • Manage design teams contractors and external partners as required throughout multiple projects.
  • Direct and execute design processes installation construction and commissioning of assigned projects.
  • Manage adherence to project milestones and project scope.
  • Provide construction management and plant startup assistance to ensure successful project execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field or:
  • 10 years of construction supervision experience OR 5 years of project management experience within a manufacturing industrial military or related environment.
  • Implementing new manufacturing equipment and processes within a Food and/or pharmaceutical experience is a plus

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $80.00/hr.
