Group/Division

With over 40 years of semiconductor process control experience, chipmakers around the globe rely on KLA to ensure that their fabs ramp next-generation devices to volume production quickly and cost-effectively. Enabling the movement towards advanced chip design, KLA's Global Products Group (GPG), which is responsible for creating all of KLAs metrology and inspection products, is looking for the best and the brightest research scientist, software engineers, application development engineers, and senior product technology process engineers. First to deliver the best imaging and classification data for every defect or point on any layer at any time. EBeams mission encapsulates its role as the eyes of KLAs product line, providing timely information on defects and critical locations on the wafer at the highest spatial resolution possible. Customers use EBeam products alongside KLA patterned and bare wafer inspectors to quickly understand the nature of defects and other imperfections on product wafers and take action to correct the manufacturing process.

Our tools work together with KLAs inspection systems to help customers quickly identify and resolve manufacturing issues, driving innovation and quality in semiconductor production.

Were looking for a passionate and driven HPC Infrastructure Engineer to help us scale our high-performance computing (HPC) systems from concept to enterprise. Job Duties, but not limited to:

  • Support and scale HPC clusters with a focus on performance, reliability, and innovation.
  • Collaborate with architecture teams to define developer needs and deliver production-ready solutions.
  • Design and manage hardware BOMs, vendor relationships, and hardware release processes.
  • Configure Linux-based systems and ensure seamless integration of compute, storage, and networking.
  • Drive system-level specifications, timelines, and quality deliverables from prototype to production.
  • Provide golden images, scripts, and documentation to support manufacturing and customer success.

Requirements, but not limited to:

  • Deep Linux expertise (SuSE, RedHat, Rocky, Ubuntu).
  • Hands-on experience with HPC hardware, storage systems, and cloud-based architectures.
  • Familiarity with scripting (Shell, Python) and configuration tools (Salt, Chef, Puppet).
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols and system-level troubleshooting.
  • Bonus: Experience with DevOps pipelines, containers (Docker, Singularity), Kubernetes, and monitoring tools like Grafana.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors degree and minimum of 2 years proven experience and Masters degree and minimum of 1 year of proven experience.
