We are seeking a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) or Qualified Mental Health Professional - Trainee (QMHP-T) currently registered with the Virginia Board of Counseling to assist us in our mission to provide comprehensive skill building services for adults diagnosed with serious mental illness at our Transitional Independent Living Program.
Responsibilities
Primarily responsible for providing training and supportive services to persons with mental illnesses living in their own home environment or the supervised living program. This position develops, implements, and completes all required documentation and assist consumers with daily living, medication management, general community support, and residential case management services and skills development.
Requirements
M1: Bachelor's degree in human services field or related field.
M2: One (1) year position related experience in the Mental Health Field with dual diagnoses experience.
M3: Registered with the Virginia Board of Counseling as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) or Qualified Mental Health Professional-Trainee (QMHP-T) designation required.
M4: Valid Driver's License with a point balance of -6 or higher.
Preferred
P1: Three (3) year position related experience in the Mental Health Field with dual diagnoses experience.
P2: Experience with Medicaid billable service requirements.
P3: Experience working with individuals diagnosed with Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, or acquitted as Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity.
P4: Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidate is preferred but not required.
Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry report will be required upon selection. Our Agency maintains a drug-free workplace.
Annual Salary Range
Grade S-C6
$45,409.00 - $51,087.00
$2,000 Sign on Bonus - Restrictions Apply
