This role will be based in either San Antonio or Austin, Texas.
DAY-TO-DAY:
This role focuses on technical leadership in water infrastructure projects. Key responsibilities include:
Developing plans, profiles, and sections for water and wastewater pipelines as well as potentially pump stations, lift stations, and treatment facility components.
May require creating P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams) for process systems
Translating engineering concepts and into detailed drawings.
Calculating quantities of materials (e.g., pipe lengths, excavation volumes, concrete volumes) from their designs for cost estimation.
Understanding and applying relevant codes and standards to their designs.
Attending site visits for data collection, existing conditions assessment, or to observe construction progress.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
3+ years of experience in water and wastewater infrastructure design.
Technical Skills: AutoCAD & Revit.
Strong understanding of the water/wastewater field, leadership, team building, and communication abilities.
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving/criminal record.
