Location:** Medical Center - Fort Worth **Department:** Maintenance **Shift:** Second Shift (United States of America) **Standard Weekly Hours:** 40 **Summary:** The Building Utility Engineer I will operate, maintain, calibrate, troubleshoot and repair equipment controls on equipment, utility and distribution systems. Included but not limited to domestic water, steam, chilled/hot water systems, HVAC, electrical distribution systems, emergency power systems, vertical lift systems, medical gas and vacuum systems, pneumatic tube systems and building automation. Education & Experience: - **High School Diploma or GED w/ 8+ years.**- **Technical or College considered in place of Years of Experience.**- Work toward obtaining expert status on at least two systems and obtain State License in related field preferred.- Skilled in Healthcare/Commercial Maintenance, Building Automation, Plumbing, Electrical, Emergency Power systems and Computer knowledge.- Troubleshoot problems and make needed repairs as needed of system and equipment.- Pneumatic tube system, Medical Gas, Building Automation and AutoCAD experience preferred.- Develop positive working relationships with colleagues and customers through good service skills and effective communication. Certification/Licensure: - Universal EPA certification preferred. City/State license in related field preferred.
