We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee and manage our public construction projects from start to finish.

Position Overview:

The Superintendent is responsible for on-site management and coordination of construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards. This is a leadership role that requires excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all on-site construction activities, including scheduling, quality control, and safety compliance.

Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project plans.

Review and interpret construction plans, specifications, and schedules to coordinate daily tasks.

Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards and safety regulations are met.

Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and inspectors.

Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager and executive team.

Address and resolve any issues or delays that arise during the construction process.

Ensure all work complies with building codes, regulations, and project specifications.

Maintain accurate daily logs, reports, and other project documentation.

Qualifications:

To qualify for this job you must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in public sector construction, If you do not specifically have Public Works Construction experience please do not apply.

Comprehensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.

Exceptional leadership and team management skills.

Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Proficiency in project management tools and software.

Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
