Concrete Estimator

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Reviewing of RFP's as received from clients

Creating detailed and accurate takeoffs for diverse types of concrete construction

Review and analyze project documents to identify project risk, material, and labor projects.

Requirements.

Solicit bid information to vendors and subcontractors as required.

Preparing accurate cost estimates

Writing, submitting and following up on technical bid proposals

Providing technical support to project teams as needed

Submit, track and following up on bid proposals

Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clients

You might be a great fit if you have (Requirements):

Bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or a related

field.

Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in structural concrete estimating within the

commercial and industrial markets.

Proficiency in construction estimating software to include Bluebeam, HCSS

HeavyBid, and PlanSwift.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft office applications especially Excel and SharePoint

Experience with a Computer-Aided Design (CAD) system or Tekla is a plus but not

required.

Excellent organizational, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication and presentation skills.

Commitment to accuracy and attention to detail.

Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.

Energetic and self-motivated

Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with others.

Qualifications:

Must have concrete estimating experience in the commercial space.
