JOB SITE LOCATIONS CAN RANGE FROM SONORA, JAMESTOWN, GROVELAND, MODESTO, CERES, DON PEDRO, HUGHSON, STOCKTON, SACRAMENTO
Primary Objective:
The primary objective of the project engineer role is to be intimately aware of the administrative requirements for a project and to facilitate the completion of these requirements in a timely manner. The site engineer will be responsible for coordinating with the subcontractor project managers to ensure site specific requirements such as submittals and employee clearances are taken care of prior to subcontractors arriving on site. Project Engineer assists Project Manager and Superintendent by providing technical support to construction staff; reviewing plans and other technical documents; answering questions regarding the scope and/or timing of the project; and monitoring costs and project progress.

Proficient computer skills with the ability to use Procore, Dropbox, and MS Office with proficiency
Jobsite Activities and Responsibilities:
Site Work (As-needed)
Daily logs (daily)
Submittals (As needed)
Site walk (daily)
Schedule (daily)
Sign in sheets (daily)
Project Setup (once)
Project Close out (once)
Assist Superintendent with site logistics (As needed)
Reports (weekly/monthly)
Purchase Orders/Procurement (As needed)
Change orders (As needed)
Physical Requirements:
Performance of the required duties will require physical ability to climb permanent and temporary stairs, passenger use of construction personnel hoists, ability to climb ladders and negotiate work areas under construction. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Performing this job requires use of hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, sit, talk, hear, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works onsite at the construction work site where the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts; high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock. The noise in these work environments is usually moderate to very loud.
