Responsibilities include:
Designing
Low and medium voltage power systems
Lighting systems and associated controls
Fire alarm and mass notification systems
Preparing construction plans and specifications of electrical systems
Developing probable construction costs;
Providing construction administration and site visits
Mentoring less experienced staff
Some travel will be required
The successful candidate must have all of the following:
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in electrical or architectural engineering from an accredited college or university.
At least 6 years of relevant electrical experience
PE license in any state with the ability to obtain in other states
The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following:
Designing low and medium voltage power, lighting systems and controls, fire alarm and detection systems
Preparing construction document drawings using Revit
Designing electrical systems using power design (EasyPower preferred)
Using lighting calculations software (AGI32 preferred)
Coordinating the preparation of construction document drawings and specifications
Providing construction administration services and site visits related to electrical systems
Mentoring less experienced engineers and designers

Salary Range: $100,000 to $140,000 - Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as: experience, skill set or location.
